Brewed in Dusseldorf, “alt”, meaning “old”, was brewed as an alternative to the rising popularity of lager beer. Designed as a characterful full bodied beer that is still light, crisp, and easy to drink, like a lager. We Brewed this Old World Ale to create complex malt flavors, an assertive noble hop bitterness, and a smooth mouthfeel. We are getting notes of dark fruit, sweet bread, light roast coffee, with a crisp nutty finish.
